Welcome to our first week of school! I’m looking forward to this year and having your child in my class. The blue/purple folder will go home with your child each night and will need to be brought back each day (whether there is something in it or not). This allows for them to get in to a routine and teach responsibility. Your child will have spelling homework Monday-Thursday and a spelling test on Friday every week unless specified otherwise. There will be projects and assignments throughout the year they will need to work on at home and supplies they will need to bring as well. I will be using ClassDojo for behavior management and to send reminders for things happening here. You will be able to check this daily so please sign up! The app is free. Also, please check my webpage weekly for news and to see what we are working on in each subject area for the week, my contact information, and school information. You can access it through the school’s webpage. I will be using seesaw to show student work. I strongly encourage you to have your child bring a water bottle with them to school. They can leave them here during the week and take them home over the weekend. :) |
